Meet the Team

As manager of McMinnville Travelwise, Katie brings to the table over 40 years of experience in the travel industry. Travel has been her lifelong passion and she enjoys it herself almost as much as helping others go on the trip of a lifetime. Personally, a visit to Peru and viewing Machu Picchu has been her favorite trip to date. Her area of expertise is in group trips, more specifically luxury cruises around the world. In her spare time wine tasting is one of her favorite things to do and she has been fortunate enough to experience it around the globe.

Raised in Yamhill County, Jill has an excellent sense of community and customer service. With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, she has a passion for making people's travel dreams come true and also making those dreams as carefree and easy to accomplish as possible. She gets satisfaction knowing someone can come to her with their travel dream or vision and she can not only make it a reality, but make it something well planned, organized and at the end of the day about the experience and not the logistics. Jill’s favorite destinations include Italy, Ireland, Germany, Tahiti and the Hawaiian Islands. She enjoys cruising and has sailed with a variety of cruise lines. While the distribution of travel has changed dramatically in Kathy’s 40 years of experience, the geography and destinations have not. When she started out she worked part time, but quickly fell in love with the idea of seeing the world and helping others do the same. She doesn’t personally have a favorite place to visit; stating that she has never went to a destination that she hasn’t thoroughly enjoyed. Small ship cruising is her specialty, helping groups visit Europe and Israel as well as iconic American cities such as Chicago and New York City. In her free time she enjoys reading historical fiction books and has a love for shopping.

Vivian was born in Lima, Peru to her Cuban father and American mother. By age eight she had traveled to Chile, the Philippines, and ultimately the US with Spanish being her first language. She started her travel career in 1964 with Eastern Airlines. Her resume includes travel consultant, office manager, destination management, and tour manager. She has lead groups all over the world. Her favorite destination is Cuzco, Peru, because of its spiritual feeling. She loves strolling the local markets as well as going to the historical sites and museums. Vivian has sailed with multiple cruise lines on both river and ocean. Reading about destinations, whether mysteries or historic fiction, gets her excited about her travels.
